Yes, I am aware that I'm a bit late for this Valentine's Day post. Look at what my darling Hubby sent me. I've heard and read about Vermont Teddy Bears but never had one. Well, now I do. He came wearing his conversation heart pajamas, a tiny bouquet of pink velvet roses, and a chocolate bear candy bar. Can you see the air hole in his delivery box? I think it may be hidden by his arm.
The flowers behind him are called "100 Stems of Love." They're Peruvian lilies and they supposedly last for weeks. Gorgeous! I think my dear Hubby did good this Valentine's Day, don't you?
We though about going to Outback for dinner that night, but the weather here was supposed to be pretty bad. We decided to pick up a heart-shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's on Saturday and save it for our Valentine's supper. I enjoyed staying home where it was safe and warm.
The photo below is the china cabinet in out dining room. It's been decked out in pink for a few weeks now. I should have posted it when I first set it up, but I've been somewhat distracted lately.
For those of you that know me personally, you know I've had Callie, my calico cat, for nearly twenty years. On February 1st, I finally had to take her to the veterinarian to have her "put down." I will post some of my favorite photos of her soon.
So sorry to hear about Callie! You had that sweet kitty for a long time...even longer than I had Sebastian.
ReplyDeleteLove the Valentine's Day gift from your hubby. I got a beautiful rose bouquet from Mark. I think he felt guilty because he's working so much lately so he spoiled me.
